Job description
Northeast Truck & Trailer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Service Advisor to join our growing team at our Paradise (NL) location.
This position plays a key role in supporting our customers by coordinating service repairs, sourcing parts, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Greet customers and assess their parts and service requirements.
Create and manage service work orders and repair estimates.
Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and customers.
Identify, source, and order parts for commercial trailers and related equipment.
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, service activities, and customer communications.
Process warranty claims and assist with warranty administration.
Provide customers with updates on repair status and completion timelines.
Prepare invoices and ensure accurate billing for parts and labour.
Support the Parts and Service Departments in achieving operational and customer service goals.
Promote a safe and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a parts, service, or customer support role, preferably within the transportation, trucking, trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment industry.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of commercial trailer components is considered an asset.
Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license.
Schedule:
8/9-hour shift
Monday to Friday, Full-time
