Job description

Northeast Truck & Trailer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Service Advisor to join our growing team at our Paradise (NL) location.
This position plays a key role in supporting our customers by coordinating service repairs, sourcing parts, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Greet customers and assess their parts and service requirements.

  • Create and manage service work orders and repair estimates.

  • Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and customers.

  • Identify, source, and order parts for commercial trailers and related equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, service activities, and customer communications.

  • Process warranty claims and assist with warranty administration.

  • Provide customers with updates on repair status and completion timelines.

  • Prepare invoices and ensure accurate billing for parts and labour.

  • Support the Parts and Service Departments in achieving operational and customer service goals.

  • Promote a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a parts, service, or customer support role, preferably within the transportation, trucking, trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment industry.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of commercial trailer components is considered an asset.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Valid driver's license.

Schedule:

  • 8/9-hour shift

  • Monday to Friday, Full-time

  • Possible overtime
